1) She made me a mother, what a
blessing that has been!
2) She is a great example to
her sisters, helps them out and leads the way
3) She loves the Lord...you can tell by the way she lives her life
4) Family is important to her,
and she's important to her family
5) She is a loyal friend, as a
result.. she has many
6) She is a self motivator, she needed no prodding from parents or YW leaders to do her Personal Progress...she was all over it!
7) She is an achiever.. She
achieved her WW goal...twice, and is now a life long member!
8) She stands tall for what is
right, she has called me to repentance a time or two!
9) She arrived into this world
with a strong will, and that strong will helps her to achieve her goals
10) She's a quick learner. A smart girl that knows how to use the brain God gave her.
11) She has determination, she
decided to buy a house, and by golly she did it!
12) She serves others...no wonder they keep calling her to be RS
President.
13) She has taught me many lessons in life. Like when she was 22 months old and told me
she wanted to go potty, I didn't know what to do...I hadn't read the book
yet...she kept me on my toes!
14) Not afraid to try new things. I understand she now likes sushi
15) Has remarkable willpower, look how great she looks
16) Always up for an adventure. (hiking, repelling, skydiving, scuba
diving, spelunking, thrill rides, travel)
17) Is a great communicator! Always has been. Whenever we got with the cousins, within the first 2 minutes she had filled them in on all our family happenings… without taking a breath.
18) She is competitive, I taught
her how to play cards and games, and now I can rarely win anymore
19) She has style, likes to look good…. She sported the side ponytail
before its time!
20) Always learning and improving herself ...Congrats on getting your Masters this year!

21) She is obedient...except that one day she made me chase her into the street when I was 8 months pregnant...she got in trouble that day and I still have the broken wooden spoon to prove it!
22) Follows the prophet’s council, no two piercings for her!
23) Has a bright outlook on life....every morning she would wake me up
and say, "It's a pretty day, mom" rain or shine
24) Loves children, will be a great mother someday
26) I like the way she writes… she has a way of bringing me to tears

27) Has values and a moral compass. She is on a course back to her Heavenly Father.
28) Is a great missionary, not afraid to share the gospel with others…

29) Has learned to grow old gracefully...she just gets better with
age! Kinda like cheese!
30) She likes to have a good time!

Ashley, I hope that your 30th birthday is one that you will never forget! It is hard to believe that I have a 30 year old daughter, which means one thing....I'm getting old! You have been such a blessing to me and our family over the past thirty years and words can not express the love I have for you. You are a beautiful person and I admire you so very much. Thank you for the woman that you have become...you make me proud! Happy Birthday Ash!! Love you! Mom
