The Top 30 things I really love about Ashley (my favorite 'Oldest' daughter):
1. She made me a father - now just how cool is that?
2. As her father, she helped me to experience new joys and blessings that I couldn’t experience any other way.
3. She has always made me proud
4. Is a good thinker
5. She has always been pretty darn level headed.
6. Accomplishes whatever she sets her mind on
7. Her excellent common sense
8. Is a great older sister
9. Is a natural friend to many, willing to reach out to others even when they don't always reciprocate
10. Her love and trust in God
11. The fact that she has a strong understanding of who she is, what her destiny is
12. The times we spent together at girls camp
13. The many pictures of her growing up over the years. They bring back so many fun memories
14. Her forgiveness for me driving over her leg (twice I might add) while helping her with her paper route.
15. For creating and giving me my ‘Legacy of Faith’ family history book
16. For CERTS
17. For her agreeing (very reluctantly I might add) to wear the flower corsage I got her when she received her Young Women’s Medallion award. I didn’t realize that it was so embarrassing for her. Yet she wore it anyway to not disappoint me. That took a lot!
18. For her love of water skiing and family vacations
19. Ashley has always wanted to please her parents
20. Her love for her grandparents and deep respect for the legacy of faith handed down to her from her ancestors
21. For her ability to laugh and enjoy life
22. She has always been a supportive cousin
23. Her a solid understanding of the gospel
24. Her ability to be happy
25. Her ability to teach the gospel
26. For the time I was able to baptize and confirm her a member of the church
27. For her natural leadership abilities
28. Her love of volleyball
29. Her divine nature
30. Her resilience for never giving up on striving for and achieving all that God has in store for her
